In 2015, she was named in the TIME magazine's list of next generation leaders, for helping Pakistani women fight online harassment. Dad originally hails from a village in Jhang, Punjab and alumni of the University of the Punjab in Lahore. She is a single mother to her son. Professionally, Dad is lawyer, practice criminal and family law and has extensive experience in cyber laws.
